Who we are
E.D.S is a well established marine contractor.
We are underwater engineers, confined space
and marine pollution specialists and pride ourselves
on being able to offer the
technical base, resources and expertise to
provide a high quality, safety conscious and
cost effective service.
We are members of the Association of Diving
Contractors, approved contractors to the
Ministry of Defence, various Utility companies
and are members of Constructionline.
E.D.S has practical experience in all aspects
of marine engineering, whether it is from a boat
or on the seabed we cover all aspects of our
industry.
We offer a wide range of services not just
diving, but mechanical engineering facilities,
coded welders, explosive advice, marine and
civil engineering.
Our equipment register is extensive with
numerous underwater cameras, a highly
capable ROV, ultrasonic thickness monitors,
welding and burning equipment, various boats
and rescue craft.
We have also partnered up with a number of
specialist consultancies for cathodic protection,
structural or diving surveys and have no limits
to where we travel.

Remotely Operated Vehicle

VideoRay Pro 3 GTO
Our VideoRay Pro 3 GTO is an underwater submersible remotely operated vehicle (ROV). The 3.8kg ROV is operated from a suitcase sized control panel and provide crisp video footage to the user. (Details below). VideoRay is depth rated to152 m (500ft) with positive or neutrally buoyant tethers up to 305m (1000ft) in length and are utilised in a variety of underwater applications including; forensics & crime scene investigation, search & rescue missions, dockside & port security operations, inland dam inspection, offshore oil & gas rig observation, and numerous other underwater observation applications. With available attachments like scanning and imaging sonar’s, port security and ship inspections are more efficient than ever before.
All video footage will be burnt onto a disc and compiled into a report for your records
