Backing Our People Beyond the Workplace

Huge congratulations to Grace Morgan, who recently represented Wales in the 100m hurdles at this year’s Loughborough International – a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the dedication, discipline and hard work she puts into her athletics.

Grace first joined Edwards Diving Services during her Year in Industry while studying Civil Engineering at Cardiff University. Following her graduation, she accepted a permanent role with the business and has quickly become a valued member of the team.

What makes her recent sporting success even more impressive is that it has been achieved alongside a demanding professional career. As part of our commitment to supporting our people, we have worked with Grace to create a flexible working arrangement that allows her to balance her responsibilities at EDS with the training required to compete at a national level.

For us, it’s a great example of what our people values look like in practice. We recognise that our colleagues have ambitions both inside and outside of work, and we believe that supporting a healthy work-life balance helps people perform at their best in all areas of life.

Grace is now setting her sights even higher as she works towards qualifying for the Commonwealth Games and pursuing opportunities within elite athletics. At the same time, she continues to excel in her role at EDS and is working towards achieving her ICE Chartership.

We’re incredibly proud to see Grace succeeding both professionally and athletically, and we look forward to following her journey in the months and years ahead.
